Lance & Tome, Appendix VI: Mass Combat
The latest word in AD&D 1E clone technology, coupled with Chainmail-inspired mass combat, and yet more in table-top gaming delights!
I’m a big fan of the man with the 45-year old Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition (AD&D 1E) campaign,
Rick also has a killer website for gaming philosophies, tips & tricks, and some fun stories of his decades in gaming, Don’t Split the Party. His DStP Discord is also a fun ride for asking Table-top Role Playing Game (TTRPG) questions. You can find an open invite to it on his website.
Rick is a tremendous fan of TTRPG of many types and flavors, but creating his own version of AD&D 1E with some home-brew improvements has been his “heartbreaker” for some time. That heartbreaker bears the name …
Lance & Tome.
The project is beginning to bear fruit with Rick’s release of his “Mass Combat” Appendix as a free standing game element. This is now available in PDF format at this DriveThruRPG link.
If you prefer your RPG rules in a physical format, Rick also has you covered with a paperback version via Lulu that you can find at this link.
For his larger Lance & Tome project, I am pleased to be providing artwork for the effort. Click the images below for some larger samples of interior illustrations.
As Rick’s project releases, I will update here on my Substack.
If you are a Superhero fan and play Champions, Rick also has his own universe of Heroes, Villains, and Psychotronic Situations! It’s called . . .
ATLANTAVERSE!
Like Lance & Tome products, you can find this bad boy on Rick’s Harbinger Games store on DriveThruRPG — Link is HERE! Check out the rest of Rick’s products at his store on DTRPG while you are there — link here.
There are also rumors of Atlantaverse being converted to the Ascendant system. Again, updates will be here as they arrive.
Enjoy some art from Atlantaverse current and future products.
That’s it for now!
Get to gaming!
Is good, must recommend.
